What´s the difference between "anxious" and "eager"?

Anxious vs. Eager

Both "anxious" and "eager" mean "desirous," but "anxious" also implies fear or concern.

Examples:
I am "anxious" to hear whether I got the job.
I am "eager" to hear about your new job.
